Volunteers of The Salvation Army are a vital part in making a difference in people's lives.
Volunteering with The Salvation Army provides many opportunities as we work together in a
spirit that fosters change in ourselves and in the communities where we live and work.
Opportunities for volunteering are as diverse as the programs we provide.
We have opportunities at four sites in the San Antonio area. We work with children,
adults, and seniors who all come from a variety of backgrounds. We encourage you to

Below are a few opportunities that critically need volunteers today:
-Teach computer skills
-Food Pantry - food bags for the hungry
-Sports coaching at Boys & Girls Club
-Serving Food to the Homeless
-Homework Helpers (School year)
-Property and Maintenance – Lawn, Yard, and Buildings
-Office and Clerical
-Disaster Services (as needed)
-Seasonal Opportunities
