Helping youth become responsible caring
citizens and acquire skills for participating in the democratic
process is the main thrust of these programs. They also develop
leadership skills and provide opportunities for planning, decision-making,
contributing to Club and community, and celebrating our national
heritage.
Activities include:
Teen Night; Guest Speakers; Tours to Police Station, City Hall,
Hospital, Colleges; Diversity; Community Beautification; and Mock
Elections.
Keystone, Torch & Peanut Club, designed
to build leadership and character and instill in members the desire
to give back to their community. Keystone Club is for ages 12
and Up, Torch Club is for ages 9-10, and the Peanut Club is for
members ages 6-8.
National Youth of the Year
The National Youth of the Year Program is designed to promote
and recognize service to Club and community, academic performance
and contributions to family and spiritual life. This program also
offers a scholarship to the winner.
