Andy Contreras
Mr.
"C" grew up in West Texas and has lived throughout Texas
beginning in Abilene, Nacogdoches, Plano, McKinney and San Antonio.
He went to Hardin-Simmons University where he received his degree
in counseling and music. His youth experience spans from working
with the YMCA, Woods Psychiatric Institute, Medallion School Partnerships,
and Boys & Girls Club. Mr. "C" was awarded the Outstanding
Young Men in America Award, Friend of Youth Award, and the Young
Kansan award for his work with youth. Highlights in his career
have been meeting General Collin Powell and receiving numerous
phone calls from past members of the Club updating him on their
success in life. What motivates Mr. "C" is discovering
the potential in youth and helping them achieve success. "I
believe in youth! The trick is to get them to believe in themselves."
Mr. "C" is married to Lisa and has five children and
a dog.
