The Mi CASA (Career Advancement & Self-sufficiency Assistance) Program assists low-to-moderate income families become self-sufficient by providing FREE career counseling, workforce preparation, home buyer education, health-related workshops, eligibility screening for social service assistance programs, college information, financial literacy, and more. Mi CASA is supported by a grant funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Department (HUD), Office of University Partnerships.

The Salvation Army provides computer resources for Mi CASA through its Beaumont Foundation Computer Lab at The Hope Center. A workshop demonstrating the resources available will be held:

The Salvation Army, an evangelical part of the universal Christian church, has been supporting those in need in His name without discrimination since 1865. Nearly 33 million Americans receive assistance from The Salvation Army each year through the broadest array of social services that range from providing food for the hungry, relief for disaster victims, assistance for the disabled, outreach to the elderly and ill, clothing and shelter to the homeless and opportunities for underprivileged children.
