Emergency Response

During disasters, The Salvation Army is there to help. The Emergency Disaster Services team offers a wide range of services when disasters strike. Services include pastoral support, counseling, feeding, personal hygiene kits, food, cleanup supplies and kits. These services are provided to help individuals and families through this difficult time. The Emergency Disaster Services team also operates a mobile canteen with a 5,000 meal-a-day feeding capacity. The mobile canteen allows us to help people who are difficult to reach or otherwise unable to be helped by regular means. We also work closely with other agencies to provide referrals for other supportive services during a disaster.
